Definitely between 70 and 72, I would take a punt at it being a 71 with the single headlights.

I have to agree, 1970. The bumper design on the back, to me, gives it away (1970 had squarish tail lights, '71 and '72 round).

Re: Anybody tell me the year of this chevelle?
I believe it is a 1970 because of the wing windows in the front doors. The "MALIBU" emblem on the fender. And no front corner blinker.

Yep!!it's a 1970!!!! 71 and 72 are the only year with this body style that had the corner blinkers mounted up hi next to the headlights.

Re: Anybody tell me the year of this chevelle?
How are some of you guys seeing the back bumper tail light openings, and the # of headlights in front? All I see is the side view.
Agree with it being a 70 Malibu, although I didn't realize the 4-door versions had wing windows. (The 2-doors do not). The lack of corner turn-signals on the headlight doors tells me it is not a 71 or 72.

Re: Anybody tell me the year of this chevelle?
@ Ol'Jim....You are right, as I stated, the corner blinkers on a 71 or 72 are mounted up hi in the corner near the head lights....(Regardless of whether or nor the car has 2 or 4 head lights). As a side note, the hi mount blinkers on a 71 have the bezel with a horizontal divider splitting the blinker into appearing as if it were 2 seperate lights when in actuality it is just one. Where-as the 1972 blinker bezel does not have the horizontal section to it.
