Is Lucas Oil Stabilizer any good?
Hi,
My mechanic recommended to me to add 1 quart of lucas oil stabilizer at every 3k oil change. I started doing this about 1 yr ago and then recently I had an oil leak and he said that it was the rear main seal. I wanted to know if there is any connection there. My '97 Honda Accord EX has 203k miles on it. Please let me know. Thanks, swb1 |

I have been using lucas for years and it has worked wonders for me. Actually cured a rear main leak in one of my cars.

I doubt it. It's a high mileage engine, anything is possible. How bad is the leak?
