1999 318 no heat

just bought a 1999 dodge 1500 replaced thermostat with a 195 an motor will not get up to temp to open it bottom rad hose cold. ran the truck with no thermostat and have very good cirulation. fan is not lock up you can turn it when cold.i used one of those high funnels when puttiing antifreze back in so it could burpe itself.can anyone help me . thanks in advance

Connect a Prestone flush kit to the coolant system, use water pressure to force out any air pockets.

If there's any air pockets near the thermostat, it wont get hot enough to open.
