Re: McLaren F1 GTR 'Gulf' LM97

It always amazed me how such an expensive kit needs so much work. Your doing a great job on it! Love all the vents opened up.

Re: McLaren F1 GTR 'Gulf' LM97

Hi

Thank you !!!

Sure I do a lot of work, but this modifications make me a lot of fun and the result is quite better.

Next I paint the kit with ZeroPaint "Gulf Blue" and Tamiya "Black"

and build the rear spoiler out of whitemetal

Greetings Sascha

Sascha, show please wheels from this dial-up. It seemed to me on your photo that studio have made not absolutely truly disks of wheels.

Re: McLaren F1 GTR 'Gulf' LM97

Hi guys

Thank you for your comments.

@Yes Dmitry your right the disks are wrong, I decide took the OZ´s from Scale Production.

@Hi Paolo! How can sell this kit, OK the kit is not the best, but the car is great. Hope you show use your GTR, too. The red/white Marlboro version from Suzuka is great.

Also I decide to do something special this the wheels.
I glue some of my hairs on rubber, so it looks much more realistic

Here new OZ´s, (they still have to painted in "neon orange")

Also I put some decals on it, here the photos with the original kit wheels

Here I make a mistake the vents on the roof have to be closed, will do so next time

So I hope I hurt you not so much with my english. I try my best.

Greeting Sascha

Re: McLaren F1 GTR 'Gulf' LM97

ahaha the hairs! LOL, I did it one time with long blond hairs from a girlfriend, to make antennas on planes, but with humidity they change lengh

the GTR looks too nice (as usual). Correct me if I am wrong: isnt this car the one taking fire at le mans?
