A/C Condenser Fan or Low on Freon?
Okay, I notice my a/c condenser fan won't turn at times but I also noticed that the compressor cycles more than usual.
Question is, Is the fan not turning on due to low freon or is the compressor cycling more due to the fan not working properly? New to this issue. Though I have seen posts about the fan. I thought I would try this question. Is there something else that could cause this? A relay? It does come on at higher speeds but as you slow down or stop at a red light it stops cooling. Re: A/C Condenser Fan or Low on Freon?
Fix your fan--compressor is turning off due to high head pressure due to fan not running....you proved that by saying a/c works while driving- quits when slowed down....

Re: A/C Condenser Fan or Low on Freon?
That was what I was thinking also and the fan is cheaper than paying a shop to tell me my freon levels are okay.
