Connecting rods
I have a '98 Rodeo with the 3.2 DOHC engine. One of the wrist pins came loose from the rod and scored the cylinder wall. I have a new block coming, but haven't been able to find a DOHC connecting rod. Are the '97 and earlier 6DV1 SOHC rods interchangable, or do I need to find the correct rod?
This engine came from a rebuilder about 2 years ago as a long block |

Re: Connecting rods
Gotta be 98-02. 97 and older used shorter rods. Find yourself a local engine builder and they should be able to dig up a source for rods.
