99 Eldorado rear shocks

The rear shocks on my 99 Eldorado have risen up as far as they can go and have not come back down. The mechanic says that he does not know what it is. If there was a problem with the ride height position sensors then wouldn't that come up when they pulled the codes? He said it may be a problem with the computer but again wouldn't that come up when the codes are pulled? He said the pump and the lines are fine.

Re: 99 Eldorado rear shocks

The bleed off valve could be stuck in the pump or the sensor is bad, a factory manual will have the correct diagnostic procedure or a subscription to alldata.com.
