03 aftermarket intake and exhaust

I have an 03 3500 with the cummins H.O. diesel, any advantage to putting a performance aftermarket exhaust and intake on them?

For performance, check out Banks Turbo for your Cummins. They have all sorts of goodies (I've read that some diesels get up to 1000hp)
