I have a 2003 Yukon XL Denali and want to upgrade to the navigation radio but have access to both part# 15204334 and 15204335. Anybody know what the differences are? Thanks.

Re: 2003 Yukon Denali Navigation Radio
If you have an '03 Yukon Denali, you dont neet all the parts listed above from gable74. I dont know what the difference is between the two part numbers you listed, but I replaced my '03 Denali with 15204334 (Radio); 15105609 (disc); and 15207447 (GPS antenna). It took less than 20 Min. to replace, and it works great.

Re: 2003 Yukon Denali Navigation Radio
The AMP was needed for my silverado because it doesnt have the "LUXURY" AMP thats needed for the Navigation radio to perform correctly. This AMP is found in the Denali's, Escalades, and Hummers. The MIC is not really needed, but to gain ALL the abilities that the new AMP will be able to provide, you can install it. To understand the MIC's function.....read the NAV operation manual.

CD Changer
I just put a Nav Unit from an H2 in my 2003 Tahoe. The whole install was very easy. It works fine, but I want to add a GMC cd changer so that I dont have to remove the nav disc. One question:
Where does the GMC cd changer plug into? The back of my nav radio does not have anymore plugs. Thanks, Chris pics comming soon |

Also, on the CD changer question....you will need to pick up a wire harness (i posted the model # a few posts back), and make a few changes to it. When and if you get that far, let me know and i will walk you through it. Here is a pic of my set up in my 2003 2500HD silverado LT. |

Tahoe install
Ok, I had the dealer unlock the theft lock and the GPS works and I can hear the woman's voice that navigates. Their is no sound from the radio or cd player. My Tahoe has Bose and Onstar and the plugs were easy. The guy at the dealership said something about the unit being for a truck with XM radio and since I dont have XM, it wont work. ???

Re: 2003 Yukon Denali Navigation Radio
That is false but i'm not surprised given that it's a guy from a dealer. I don't have XM and the unit works fine. I get perfect sound and I have the monsoon amp in my car. Not bose.
