Arrow Overdrive fuse?????

i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9L: i just had the tranmission rebuilt. oiled truck up took it for a test drive it shifs good untill we come up to 45 50RPMs to go into over drive and now iv ran test and checked fuses "now i cant find or is their a such thing as an OVERDRiVE fuse for this 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9L truck???some1 help me..ruben...

I'm not aware of any fuse for the overdrive.

Did you say it's ok until you get to 4550 rpm?

yeah like its goes throw all gears but overdrive.. when i test drove the car amim ago after passing 40 45rpm it stays into 4th gear...

Are you saying 40-45 miles per hour? I'm confused.

If that is the case, I would take it back, right now, to the place where you had it rebuilt. They DID give you some kind of warranty I hope.

yeah mybad 45 mph...
but im work at a trany shop...
and my shop is where i rebuilted at..lol
my boss and i was trying to figure if it was something electricl or inside the trany
but we was thinking it was electrical bC 1st gear going into 2nd into 3rd then shiftting into 4th works grate!! but now when we go pass 40 45 MPH so the truck can shit into 5th gear witch it "overdrive".. it wont...

I'm not the best tranny guy, hopefully someone will be along shortly. But if it's got an electronic engagement for overdrive, that sounds like the issue.

But I thought that year had a 4 speed? What are your RPMs at 60 mph?

Yeah i figured ima take it to an eletric place and see if they can run some kinda test... I just wanted to see if anyone had sometrhing to say befor i send it and spend 2-300 bucks to figure something easy out...thanks anyways bro..
P.s yeah its 3 gears with 4th being the overdrive...
