nos and charger ?
ive heard lots of things about nos and chargers...some are good, some are bad, real bad.....so is it really safe on your engine to run nos (nitrous oxide) with some type of charger (super or turbocharger) ?? thanks a bunch for the help....im new and i already like this place!! :bandit:

It's not a good idea to do both on a stock engine. In order to do both, a set of very stout engine internals ie. forged pistons, forged crank, really good valves are neccessary and the list goes on. In addition to the engine, a question of wheather the transmission and the rest of the drivetrain can handle the added power. An example is a co-worker of mine has a mustang 5.0. After various mods, he gunned the gas and the chassis flexed so bad, the windshield popped out! Gotta make sure the car itself can handle the motor too!
