sunfire motor swap

does anyone know if a 2.2 litre motor from a 2002 sunfire directly bolt in a 1995 sunfire?

any help is appreciated

Can't say for CERTAIN, but I believe, no. Memory says the heads are different.

Best bet would be contact one of the more expensive wrecking yards in your area. They have an "interchange" manual and can "look it up". Pick-a-part type places probably won't have the manual.

The answer is no,was changed in 1998.Any 1995 engine will fit.1996 and 1997 are by itself,have cam sensors and your does not.
