engine swap

help my engine is on its last legs and i dont want to mess about fixing it
i need help as i want to put a 406 sri turbo engine into my 405.

yea looks like ive got the same problem
i just got a 88 405 sri 1900 sohc efi 8 valve!!!!
hot!!!!
no not realy
its blowing a fair bit of smoke and parts are realy hard to find seing i live in newzealand
while i was trying to find that dicky little plastic thing that connects the clutch cable to the pedal (whats it for????????? it snaps like every time you try flat change it??) on the computer and i noticed that these cars came out in a dohc 16 valve efi
now we mainly get jappas here so i dont know anything about peugeots
how hard is it to but the dohcer in my car?

are u sure that the 406 turbo engine will fit in?
you will going to have to do some changes, and that costs lots of cash$

Please don't bring up dead topics to life unless you have a useful peice of information to share with the community. This thread happens to be nearly two years old and pugboy's last visit here was a long time ago.
