Re: noise from drivers front wheel

I am getting a knocking noise from around the front right wheel it starts as a tapping and builds to a god almighty banging. Have had the mounts replaced -worn but OK. It does not seem related to bumps in the road or speed although there seems to be an associated squeek with bumps. It s not the CV's but I am concerned as the noise is too loud to even shout to one another. As always refuses to do it for the garage and they are just replacing parts at an expensive rate.

Anyone any ideas ?
