should i buy a 99 626? good car?
Hey guys,
i am considering buying a 99 646 4cyl with 99,000 miles on it. is this a good buy? the guy wants $4600. thanks! yohan |

It's a good buy, but make sure you buy 5-speed manual transmission, because Mazda uses Ford's automatic transmission on these cars and they suck big time.

It sounds like a good buy. I used to drive them alot when I worked for a rental car company. They can take a decent beating.

my buddy's got a 98 626 with 90k+ miles on it. seems to be a very reliable car,, but his is an auto tho so i don't kno how a manual would compare.

the car I am looking at is an auto. they replaced the tranny about a year ago. would the new tranny be any better? did ford fix the problem? the tranny was replaced at cottman. cottmen? cotman? cotmen? thanks! -yohan |
