Fuel Grade
My 2000 Acura 3.2TL which I bought new has now accumulated 150K miles but still mechanically in good shape. When new I used high test gas as recommended. At 150K miles I would assume that there had to be some decrease in compression although driving the car, it seemed to be as good as new. Nonetheless, with the price of gas nowadays I was wondering if it would be OK (no performance loss) if I shifted to the cheaper "Plus" fuel.
Thanks Donsor |

Re: Fuel Grade
I experimented using the mid-grade gas and didn't notice any change in performance however, I'm sticking with the premium gas because without knowing it the car's computer could be compensating for any possible changes.
