4wd
Why is it important to take a vehicle out of 4WD when you get back on solid ground? I very occasionally forget to put the vehicle back in to 2WD after I get unstuck, and have driven for about 1.25 miles at about 45 MPH. What kind of potential damage can I do to my vehicle if I keep it in 4WD on a smooth road at a moderate speed for a little while?
FWIW I drive a 2004 Dodge Ram. Thanks. |

Re: 4wd
That article was interesting. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and never read that at any Jeep forum.
