Had a Honda dirt bike when I was 12, learned the basics there. The first vehicle I drove with stick was when I was 15, my dad's DUMP TRUCK! And this is no little 2 ton pickup style dump, it hauls 8 ton. 72' F600, 10 speed, it's a beast. It was quite an experience.

I learned when i was 12 on my dad's 93 miata silver anniversary edition. It was gonna be my car when i turned 16, but he crashed it into the supporting column of a bridge. The guy who cut my dad off fled the scene, what an asshole. Oh well, that would have been a pimpin first car.

Learned it when i was in 8th grade, i was about 13, a old hyundai. Remember i had to learn to balance the damn clutch on a big friggin hill! That shit was scary like hell when the car rolling back and you don't know what the heck you doing with the clutch and the gas Now it's just clutch and gas on a hill

In 1997 when I was 17, I leased a new 97 civic dx coupe and didn't know how to drive the bitch, but I learned quick. It only took a couple days to get it down.

My first time was poop. I bought my Integra, drove it out of the lot right into town to the insurance company. Busy city traffic on hilly streets is not a good time to learn. lol.

a 1987 mazda 323 and an 1989 probe. I drive an auto right now so I still don't remember how to turn it off in gear because it's been so long...so I just stall it in a parking space when I drive a manual.

first manual I ever drove was a 24' U-haul truck, yeee haaaaa, at least I knew I'd be ok if I hit anybody, and didn't have to worry about anybody running over me either, lol
