Low Profile Wheels

I purchased a new Rover 75 in Aug 2003 and elected to have low profile "Serpentine" wheels added at an extra cost.

In 8 months of running the car I have managed to buckle 3 wheels in normal motoring. I have previously had 30 years motoring with no problems of this kind.

I am writing to find out therefore if this is a problem any other users have encountered in order to try to establish if the cause is my driving or an inbuilt fault with the wheel.

Any info or source material for further research would also be very welcome.

Ian

I think low profile tires are not a good idea for the Rover 75. THis is not a rally or sportscar you know. Paul
