93 Talon door warning light stays on

Just bought a 93 Talon with only 55k. Problem: Various lights (door ajar light, dome light, trunk light, ring light around ignition switch, floor lights and trunk light) stay on while driving and long after driving. They're supposed to stay on a few seconds, then fade out when the doors are closed. I have checked the door switches, and they look fine. I disconnected the hatchback switch, and that shut out the trunk light, but not the others. I pulled the fuse for these lights so they're not draining the battery, but that shuts off the radio, too. Mechanic at local dealership suggested I might have a bad "timer module" or "timer control module," but no one at the dealership can tell me where this module would be or what the part number is. Anybody happen to know? Help?

Look into the simple crap first. Check the door switch both sides. Clean the contacts. and see what happens.
