Winter is the best for drifting IMO since you don't have to worry about wearing your tires also it's better because the worst that that'll happen is hitting a snowbank or drift so you have less chance of fuckin' your car up.

Too bad my car is FWD and that it would be crazy to drift in. Oh well if it actually snows where I live, ill let the car slide and pretend im drifting, lol.

I think (AND I HOPE AND PRAY!!!!) that drift is getting a lil' tired and boring with all these young-ins! maybe that is why there are so lil' post? As for me: I'm still right here... well I always was! Thinking of buying another S13 Coupe so I can show these kids a thing or two!

I'm not dead. Just smarter. Anyway I'm working on a project car. I can't say anything about it right now. But I may post a video in a few months if everything works out like it should.

Well, I didn't bother to post about Rhys Millen and the Pontiac GTO winning at Irwindale, because that would've started off the same tired out debate about import versus domestic plus how the big corporations are ruining drifting plus how Formula Drift isn't JDM enough and how they judge things all wrong etc etc etc

Then I considered a thread on how Hubinette's Viper Competition Coupe is banned for next year's Formula Drift season. But that would've started off the debate of import versus domestic plus how the big corporations are ruining drifting plus how Formula Drift isn't JDM enough and how they judge things all wrong etc etc etc

And you know, I even thought it might behoove me to mention the Drifting Expo at Laguna Seca in conjunction with the CART Champ Car race that featured several of Formula Drift's top drivers but as we all know it would've spiralled into a debate about import versus domestic plus how the big corporations are ruining drifting plus how Formula Drift isn't JDM enough and how they judge things all wrong etc etc etc


The problem is that you people can't be civil enough to discuss any topic actually relating to what's going on in drifting today thoughtfully. It kills interest in the forum when all you do is bicker about how "Pontiac and Dodge don't belong in drifting", and how "Mainstream American drifting sucks. It was better when it was underground and JDM".

yeah man i agree with you, everytime i post a question about something related to ff or american car i get flamed, i post how u can feint on a 323 and what are some good techniques to hold that drift, noone even bothers to think, or sometimes even read what my question is, as soon as they see FF they just flameeeeee...
