Those wheels seem to be a trend with that dealership.

Do you have a particular Lowenhart style in mind?

Ahhh.. you mean this? Not bad a bad choice! I don't know if it comes in the correct sizes for a Murcielago but maybe I am not seeing all of the sizes these rims come in. They do have style though.

I think that any car above $100,000.00 shouls be left completely stock. I dont think Murcielago's should "Be sittin on tweny twos" . But what ever the owners of the cars like for there wheels is fine, I just personally wouldnt do that to that car if it were mine.

I cannot be certain but I would not be surprised if those rims are not Lowenharts. Those Lowenhart's (or some that are very similar) have been popping up on Murcielago's alot lately. In fact if I am not mistaken those are the same wheels that Busta Rhymes has on his car minus the painted portion. I believe they stated that in the Dupont Registry. Missy Elliot also claimed to have the same one (green) on her car as Busta, but in the new DUB magazine she claims they are a different brand than Lowenhart. At any rate, I am very particular about what rims go on any car whether it be a Ferrari or a Toyota. That being said these rims do not look that bad. Would I buy them??? I don't know, but as I have said before those pictures of that dark grey Murci in the Utah showroom that has been posted here before is perhaps the prettiest I have seen to date.
Edit: I stand corrected Busta and I believe Missy's are the Maya rims. There is an AD for them in this months DUB. Well damn then, I don't know where I saw those Lowenharts on the Murci but they look liked these. I'll try a search. Here is the thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...highlight=Utah After going back and reading the article in DUB mag did claim that Busta was running Lowenhart B5S. They are wrong of course but then agin they had the size wrong too. That mag has good pictures but is full of mistakes. |

AH, the art of research. Here is what I found.
Maya's: Look at the DTS's http://www.mayawheels.com/wheels.asp Lowenharts: Look at the BR5's http://www.rhevolution.com/wheels_low.asp Very similar indeed. I can understand the confusion. Anyway those Maya DTS's would really look sharp on the Murci. Perhaps 20" on the back and 19" on the front. Last edited by raven1822; 08-08-2003 at 04:30 AM. |

are you one of this guys who want 26 on their SUV? omg 22 inch rims are maybe ok for the american market (if they would fit under a murcielago without bodywork ) but here in germany you could never use them. we like to drive fast here and the forces working on the wheels when you go on race track are unbelieveable. 22 are definetely 2 inch to big. 20 is absolute maximum |
