Cool Rehashing Old Topic: RE: Recent Spate of New “Members”

From late February to date, I’ve noticed a spate of new conversations being started by individuals who joined just on the day I opened and read their topics.

Many of the actual conversations have a vague/generic feel to them, and others are in the form of questions that can be answered with a quick check on Google or DuckDuck.

Don’t get me wrong here, I’d love to see more members added, and see more activity on A/F in general. But in many of these recent cases, I smell a rat - or more succinctly, I smell a BOT

Possibly some wave of people getting into cars? I'm new to cars and the first bit of advice everyone gave me was, if I have a problem, go to car forums to ask for answers. Lots of people possibly just don't know what to search and are more comfortable asking others for some advice, even on simple topics. Just a possibility, could also be bots. Just putting in my two cents.
