2002 Frontier headlamp adjustment

I just purchased a 2002 Nissan Frontier XE Crew...
Anyone know how to adjust (down) the headlamps?
My owner's manual only says to take it to the dealer.

Re: 2002 Frontier headlamp adjustment

Aiming Adjustment
When performing headlamp aiming adjustment use an aiming wall screen.

For details, refer to the regulations in your own country.

Before performing aiming adjustment check the following.

1. Keep all tires inflated to correct pressures.
2. Place vehicle on flat surface.
3. See that the vehicle is unloaded (except for full levels of coolant, engine oil and fuel, and spare tire, jack, and tools). Have the driver or equivalent weight placed in the driver's seat.

LOW BEAM

NOTE: The horizontal headlamp aim cannot be adjusted. Only vertical aim is adjustable.

1. Turn headlamp low beam on.

2. Use adjusting screw to adjust the vertical aim of the lamp.

o Cover the opposite lamp and ensure fog lamps, if equipped, are turned off.
o Adjust beam pattern until cut-off line (top edge of illumination area) is positioned at same height off ground as bulb center (on H-line). Measure cut-off line within distance A on H-line. See aiming chart.

If the vehicle front body has been repaired and/or the headlamp assembly has been replaced check aiming. Use the aiming chart shown in the figure.

* Basic illuminating area (shaded) for adjustment should be within the range shown on the aiming chart. Adjust headlamps accordingly.
