What to do...
I came out to find my car had been in a fender bender. It was hit from the left side by what I assume to be a truck, since it only did cosmetic damage to the hood and latch. The right side was raised about four to five inches, but with a little bit of weight and a shove, I popped it back to be about a half of an inch taller than it should be. The hood nearly closes perfectly, it's just a little raised on the right and a little more... down on the left. The latch was bent back, my Uncle came with a pair of pliers to fix it, but the hood wouldn't latch shut. He looked a little closer and it seemed like the latch itself had been shoved back. I'm wondering if I need to simply replace the latch AND the hood, or just attempt to replace the latch and see if that will solve my issue. What would you suggest? I appreciate the input!

Re: What to do...
Impossible to really give accurate advice without onsite inspection , could be the radiator support is pushed back, that is what latch mechanism is attached to, can be hard to see by eye without body work experience.
