Did you buy the Michelins thru JD Motorsports? FYI...the Pirelli’s are better and you don’t have to deal with JD Motorsports who will ALWAYS put you behind anyone more important. We had all kinds of delivery issues with JD. The Pirellis come in diff. compounds and last longer. plus the only tire I have ever seen consistently come apart at speed was Michelins. I have had it happen to me once and friends in Cup Cars at least 5 times that I witnessed. just my 2

Good info, I actually looked at the new Pirellis, I didn't get them from JD, I ordered them from a Dealer on the west coast I found on the corvette forums. the arrived the next day after ordering them, direct from Michelin in greer, SC.

I will definetly try the pirellis as my next tire, I LOVED the D3's that came on the car but had heard some good things about the Michelins.

hmmm...I was told a year or two ago that all sales of Michelins eventually go thru JD. Maybe I would have had a better experience going thru a dealer rather than a distributor. Always felt VERY low on the totum pole with them. Whats the dealer you went thru? what size are you running?

Re: Anyone need decals?

Hello Eric,

If you still have some of the green vinyl that I sent you . . .

. . . please cut me two sets of the "bp" letters with each letter about 3" tall
BP sent me nice decal sets but with yellow letters .

You know me, it's all about the color . I think this image should be a good reference.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:BP_Logo.svg

Let me know how much and I'll resend our shipping address with payment.

thanks
bob

Re: Anyone need decals?

Sounds great!

Is there enough to also do another green Panoz logo?
If so let me know/remind me the price and include it in the package too.

e-mail me with payment instructions and I'll reply with shipping instructions

Do you think you could add some panoz decals (like the one on your rear-quarter) that could go anywhere on the car, but just say "panoz" without the "racing series"?

Re: Anyone need decals?

Eric, have you been to the dyno to determine how much more HP these decals add to the car?
