'06 CTS tire pressure monitor
I just got a 2006 CTS 3.6 that does not have the tire pressure monitor. How hard would it be to retrofit this feature? Does the computer have the receiver for the transmitters already installed? Could I get the transmitters and have the computer flashed to "turn on" this feature?

Re: '06 CTS tire pressure monitor
Not really feasible to do this after manufacture, reciever, sensors wiring, also the bcm is in the circuit. I think there is an aftermarket set for this.

Re: '06 CTS tire pressure monitor
Thanks for the reply. Let's try this: I've read on other forums that the DOHC 6 cylinders have an oil consumption problem. I have not had any problem, but one person wrote that his 3.6 loses a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. Has anyone heard of or seen this?

Re: '06 CTS tire pressure monitor
Some of the 3.6's did have piston ring problems that resulted in oil consumption problems...
