Fuel pump

This will be my first time replacing a fuel pump so i need some help. My brother has a 91 tempo and the pump died in his parking lot. So my question is are there any special tools needed? is it difficult to do when it isnt on a lift? any advise would be great.

Re: Fuel pump

No special tools needed, and as long as you have a jack it should not be any more than half hour to an hour. Really simple job.

Smile Re: Fuel pump

Its a pretty easy job, Make sure you got an 3x3 piece of plywood to place the fuel tank onto floor jack. It makes it tons easier to lower it outta place. 50 pc socket set and needle nose pilers and screws drivers will work fine.
