Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

Car Graphic seems like they have some interesting stuff regarding #016 and other F1's back in the day.

I am not sure if this magazine sections were covered, but it is interesting to view pics of #016.

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

There isn't much left of the Japanese Fleet - at least not since the original thread was started. One car that is still over there is chassis 051 which hadn't been seen for a number of years, but appeared yesterday in this photo from Instagram user 'kasa_m' who writes that the owner has turned down at least one offer exceeding $10M.

Great to see this car again after nearly 5 years off the radar!

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

I'm assuming that's 070?

Speaking of the fleet.

i've been trying to get a spreadsheet sorted. Only have #051, #060 and #070 left in Japan?

Oh, plus #25R and the GT?

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

The F1 GT is no longer in Japan - I wouldn't necessarily expect it to be returning either.

If that silver car is #070 then the interior would have had to have been changed. It remains the most likely possibility, but I don't believe we can be sure.

It has surfaced once again, this time wearing the tell-tale registration plate we have seen on it previously.

Really like the ghosted Le Mans livery it's wearing.

The nod to 01R is pretty neat. "Ghosted" is a great way of describing it!

Or should it be #10R?
It has red cam covers, #01R has black ones.
