Re: boss and yenko production
To fastz06 boss mustangs are nothing to a yenko which were only built in the 68 -69 other then that it would be a yenko chevelle or nova which i have both not yenko but ss 454 but the rare yenko being a 68 stock had 565 hp so no mustang not even the GT 500 with 460 or so hp could beat that. As for a yenko now Don Yenko sorry to say passed away no more yenkos other then the pt crusier called wildfire or something i think its his son or something but other then that you cant buy a yenko and even if you had 150 grand nobody would sell a real 68-69 yenko you could get a clone for about 90 but the 69 yenko only had 425 hp just like the hemi back in the day now all a hemi is a 5.7 Also now as a 350 chevy so. You have a zo6 huh were you pissed that the new stock vette will push out more then your zo6 or will you be saving to get the new zo6 ? i dont like euros or anything like that V8 cuz they need turbos and nos to had what a stock v8 has haha

Re: boss and yenko production
I think if im right, that a yenko was in the camaros 427 , maybe some 350's? i have seem some but i thought they were clones , don yenko loved the race motor 427, yes the 454 was a bigger motor in fact the LS6 pushed out more then a 69 camaro yenko LS6 had about 450 hp and the yenko being 425 but those are the top engines the 427 and the 454 but the race motor was the 427 all it was is a 454 with a 396 crank making it take off like nothing else , i mean look at it this way i have a 73 nova SS and i had 350 hp and now with a little fixing up i push out about 560hp without nos or blower or anything like that its all motor, I'm looking to hit 630 with my big block 454 i have been fixing up . So out of a small block i push out more then a LS6 and whatever else, i once raced a 454 SS chevelle a 72 and he had about 600hp and i took him out, do to my power being at a lower RPM then his, euros get their power in the high RPM so having power at a low RPM means you have more power and take off quicker and all better in gerenal but my nova had to be a auto i had blown the 4 speed i had it could take all that power so to save the motor from redline and to save the tranny i but in a 400 turbo witha 5000 Tq takes off fast my 0- 60 is about 3.4 i not to sure, i mean i love chevelles 67-72 and camaros 67-69 *i dont like 80's iroc z bullshit TPI haha, now the 90's -03's now they are real power the ss or the SS slp almost 400 hp and thats stock now even a K&N or anything and the cobra making about 380 or so power man, ford had to make their stangs DOHC which any euro racer knows it making it kinda faster but thats just it ford had to put a little euro mix in to the stang to keep up with GM look at it this way the new MACH 1 has about 300hp now my nova had that stock a 73 SS had the same with out DOHC just good old fasion push rod power, and then i had put alum heads and got 350, but the mustang is all looks ford put more into the look then power the stang is a chick car cuz i do love to see a nice chick driving one and she trys to race me, chicks love stangs and any guy would want a car like that to get chicks which is cool i get chick which my nova and chevelles but then some assholes think that are racers with 4.6 or even the 5.0 or the 5.4, which i can remember i had race a cobra R and i didnt know if it was fake but it had all the right things but then again most stangers buy that cobra r body kit to get what else more girls which is fine just dont think you can beat everything on the street, well we raced and i pulled away bad and he was with a chick so , in fact i did race a top euro a supra and he had twin turbo and nos so i was like sure lets race, i wanted to see what all this euro stuff was about and sure enough it was bullshit more guys wanting nothing but to get notice , chicks, so we were at a stop and then took off at the green light sure enought i pulled away really bad like 5 car lengths then let go and he kept punching it so i floored it again and he was at my rear bumper then i pulkled away yet again this time 6 car links so i had asked him did he use nos and he said yes so twin turbo and nos he should have had about well more hp then me at one point, so i thought well if i had twin turbo and nos in this what hp could i get and it would be in the 900 or 1000 +_ depends on the nos shot and psi on the turbo but i had enough hp, i once raced a 911 turbo he kept up about 2 car links back but i let go of the gas. So i'm looking so someone to tell me what car should i be looking to race on thes street or if they want to write back about anything i have said, i heard a GNX was fast takes out Zo6 and all the GNX is a 6 with a big turbo but someone told me to race a viper but let me know what i should go after or anything else i know alot about motors ford and GM and euro i do have one its a 94 RX 7 twin turbo
i know i said i dont like euros but this is a top euro , i changed out the turbos and intake, fuel rail , put headers , fixed eveything up droped in about 8 grand in it, i should have about 700 hp if not more i tuned the turbos to push out alot more then they should , but anyone want to write back do so, I do like some ford but even the ford fans know FORD NEEDS TO bring back the power they once had and GM just need to not do anything but i will save when it comes to off road i do like my 84 bronco over a K5 blazer but thats look for me ford and GM its all good just depends on the person how much do you want to put into the car and how fast you want to make it, its all up to the owner i say cuz i know i might lose to someone someday but who knows |
