Issue with Hyundai Amica

Hi all

I'm new here so apologies if I'm posting on the wrong board.

My problem is that I have a ten year old H Amica, it had a full service less than 2 months ago and with a new exhaust installed, however only today it started grinding down my street (sounding like metal rubbing against the undercarriage). I checked underneath my car and saw nothing obvious, as thought I'd caught something whilst driving home from work. Moved my car forward in first gear then backward in reverse and now it won't move at all.

Any help or advice or ideas as to what it could be would be appreciated. And I am planning to take it to the garage tomorrow.

Thanks

Carol

Welcome to AF,

The Amica is a little city car isn't it?

If it an auto or a manual?

Hi there Moppie

Yes it is a city car and it's a manual start up system.

Thanks
