58 Impala junkyard *UPDATE* - now with display base
project for fun. i like junkers, i like to do weathering. no clearcoating, no polishing, no stress
AMT 1/25, very bad quality, but good enough for junker. tamiya acrylics, weathering by airbrush mainly, some pastels, tamiya weathering master, + small touch of oil color. taking photos of weathered model is not the simplest task how i realized, but i hope you like it... with display base: Last edited by matador88; 02-20-2009 at 04:56 AM. |

Re: 58 Impala junkyard
I love it. You don't see enough of this kind of modeling here. My favorite details: 1) stupid passenger door just won't close (I've seen that a million times on drivable junkers), and 2) the missing taillight cover and exposed bulb. Very cool. I might complain about the grille not looking quite like the rest of the car, but, hey, that's just me.
Awesome job. |
