Clutch

65 GTO Muncie M-21, 389. My old clutch would shudder when it warmed up so I installed a new Hays clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, now the clutch won't disengage, any quick way to find out what's going on? I adjusted the pushrod like the manual said, till it resists, then 3 1/2 more turns. I had to fabricate a new pushrod because the headers I installed interferred with the pivot lever causing me to have to bend it out away from the header . Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks, Joe
