Tesla Roadster

I'm suprised that I haven't found anything about the Tesla Roadster any where on this site. Tesla Motors is a new car company in San Carlos, CA that is dedicated to changing the world's view on electric cars. Here are some specs on the car:
  • 0-60 about 4 sec
  • 248 HP
  • almost 200 ft-lbs of torque
  • nearly 100% of torque available from 0 to over 13,000rpm
  • 250 miles per charge
  • 100% electric
  • design help from Lotus, so you know it will handle like it was glued to the pavement
  • you should be able to see it on the road in Californa by early 2007
for more details about this car, go to www.teslamotors.com

I know this post might sound like an advertisment, but I'm just excited about this car and i want people to know that electic cars can be very fast. I wish i had the money to buy one.

Your right, it's an Electric Lotus, all the more reason to hate it, I'd take a Lambo any day over that, that car is crap, it looks like crap and drives like crap, trust me.

Did you look in the "Tesla Motors" forum?

As soon as I have $100,000 to spend, I'm buying one.

Re: Tesla Roadster

They keep increasing its weight to make it safe, and lower its distance to compensate for the increased weight.
