Cool B2600i Antilock lite dim but on

I bought this truck to export to the Bahamas and want it in good working order. Have been through it and everything is working except the antilock lite seems to be on very dim, never get bright like the brake lite.
I have had all the wheels off and the brakes are like new, surveyed the antilock system out back but cannot figure out how it works.
Would appreciate any ideas.
BTW, the truck has an ok brake peddal but does seem a bit soft.
Thanks
Jim

on my 1990 b2200 the antilock break light would not turn off - the breaks were fine. i just dissconnected the system - this can be done under the dash on the drivers side.

Re: B2600i Antilock lite dim but on

There is a solenoid on the passenger side rear axle that controls the antilocks.Sometimes it gets dirt, rust or water in it and doesnt function well.Unplug it,clean the prongs and replug it. Usually the main cause on antilocks lite on is low brake fluid levels. Be sure the brake fluid id topped off. BJ
