I remember watching the Imola Grand Prix live on the TV...
couldn't believe that something bad had happened! The next day in school EVERYBODY (boys, girls, teachers) was talking about it! To anyone interested there is a 2hour documentary about Sennas life! Well worth watching imo! Oh ! Nice work on the figure too! |

incredible it is already 23 yrs ago. To me it seems yesterday, and I remember it was a real scary weekend, with Barrichello crash, Ratzenberger disgrace, alboreto wheel flying in the pits... Also, I note the fate of many names of the period, Ayrton, alboreto, even that poor schumacher. For sure at the time my personal interest in formula 1 was much higher than today. I wanted to paint Senna in that suit cause I think he was much more happy in Mclaren yers than in his last period to Williams.
