cLUNKING nOISES

Occassionaly while making low speed full turns or backing and turning I here a clunking noise from the front of the vehicle probably right side. Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this. Also I'm new to vehicle 2000 mls and its a 2003 4x4 V6 w/ 20015 mls total. Thanks

When backing are you also turning full, and by full I mean the steering wheel will not turn any further?

Start by putting some heavy grease on the steering stops to rule them out.

Re: cLUNKING nOISES

I have the same problem. I thought it might have something to do with the air conditioner engaging and disengaging. It is a rather loud "clunk".
