Pagani Huayra 1/24 from Aoshima
Just finished this Pagani Huayra 1/24 from Aoshima. Built it straight out of the box with photo-etched mesh from Hasegawa (PA-21). This kit beyonds my modeling ability, I was having really difficult time to fit them together. It has very good details and part count, but the instruction was a little vague, where parts could put together differently depending on how you interpret it. Every little mistake adds up and at the end, things just don't fit. Anyway, I tried my best and ready to move on to another kit. This kit practically took me 10 months from start to finish. All paints are from Tamiya and most are from their rattle cans, and certain parts were done with airbrush.
Thanks for checking it out. Last edited by E46nm52; 04-04-2019 at 05:45 PM. |

Despite your issues with the covers / doors, it still looks very good. A well executed and clean build. I like the blue color!

Thanks. It was really hard to test fit everything because the whole thing was build-up from small parts. I need a easier kit for my next build

Whoa, despite the issues, the finished model is stunning! Especially in this color, really offsets nicely with those gold wheels. She's a looker!

It looks good, like the color. I have been on the hunt for templated carbon fibre decals for all the black parts with no luck, but your black paint looks very nice on it. What was the black color, I know black
Thanks

Haha, I am too lazy to do carbon decals for this one. I used Tamiya TS-40 metallic black.

Looks excellent. Worth the effort on what looks like a super tricky kit!
