Trivia

My sister said that the windshield (I think) does this thing when it gets wet where it beads up on certain spots and not others so it looks like it says Syclone! Cool, huh?

Looks like the Big Boys have to step in and remove any and all doubt about the true facts of the game.

Syclones (WITH AN S!!!) Were produced and available to the the public for 1 year. 1991. There were 3 1992's produced but they have all slipped into obscurity. For 1991 there were 2,998 Syclones built. 10 of these were the famous Marlboro Syclones. Ultra rare, if you find one of these bubbas for sale for less than 80grand....Jump on it. Other rare Syclones exist. For more information on these visit www.sportmachines.com

Typhoons were produced and availble to the public for the 92 and 93 model years. 2500 shining examples were available in 92 and an additional 2200 were made in 93. I currently own a 93 Wht w/ gray cladding #0750. Its for sale.

If you want to get more information or discuss these trucks further with me hit me up on www.syty.net

Wrong, nothing remotely like that happens on any of the SyTy's

Wrong, as stated before, there were 2,998 Sy's produced in 1991
and 4,697 Ty's in 1992 & 1993. I have 1993 #0180 White/White.

also try www.classifieds2000.com , there are usually at least 8 on there.

How's the maintenance on typhoons? I've been wanting to get one for a few months, and theres a nice 92 ty, with 50k miles for $12000. The engine and transmission are stock, and there arent any mods. Are there a lot of problems with these, and if there are what kind?

If you keep it stock.. it's like any other vehicle.. just change the fluids when the manual says... if you mod them then thats a different story. Also you have to remember that these trucks are 12 years old so normal things like bushings etc my be in order..... also the major problem with owning these trucks are that no one, I mean no one knows jack about them... sooo you have to do all the mods and maintenance your self..

Congrads, I can relate, I spent alot of time trying to save for a nice grand national but then fell in love with the syclones when I finally saved enough money so I purchased it and do not regret it... now bring your ass over to syty.net so you can read and learn how to make it fast
