cold air intake

i bought a cold air intake and i tried putting it on but im missing a connector piece(rubber) that connects the engine side of my MAS airflow sensor box(oval to 2.5" dia connector) to my piping that leads to the engine.....
does anyone kno where i can find that piece, or am i going to have to go out and buy the whole new piece?

I'm a little lost. what piece are you missing? the MAS to the filter addapter, the MAS to the intake addapter, the MAS electrical harness, or the vacume return line from the engine to the intake? all of those can be bought for under $5.00 except for the MAS electrical harness. if you cant describe it send some pics.
Also where did you find a "cold-air intake"? which one did you buy?

Re: cold air intake

Try contacting the people who sold you the CAI. They usually give you all the pieces.....kinda weird....

Re: cold air intake

There are a couple of 'em on eBay. Maybe they're just for the base/SL. :o/

Re: cold air intake

ok on the MAS box on the one side there is a oval shape hole for the air to flow threw, i need the connector piece to connect that oval shape to my piping..... heres a pic

http://images.andale.com/f2/125/112/...3000gt_sl3.gif

its the black piece to the top of the MAS box

and yes u need to widen hole behind the fuse box for the piping to go to the wheelwell......
i bought it off a guy from 3si, and me being as dumb as i am got rid of his email after i recieved the intake... so i dont kno his name, and he said everything was in the box when i asked him after i got it.....

The local speed shops and tunner shops around my area sell those addapters. its like 3 inch in one side and 2 inch on the other side, I bought one for like $5.00 when I had my eclipse. I had one laying around my house too, dam I wonder if I still have it. anyway double check the size of the pipe and the MAS oval, those funnel shaped couplers are easy to find, If I find mine I'll pm you.
