anyone ever had a failed IPC after having it repaired by southern electronics?
our 98 achieva had a dying at startup issue when we got it last fall, real clean car and we got it for dirt cheap(120 bucks)
so i replaced the ignition key lock in it the it would still would only die at startup every once in a while and have the common security light flashing problem so i ended up finding out about southern electronics and IPC repairing got a hold of them and sent ours to them for repairs, got it back put it in the car and it was great all up until about a week ago, took it to the dealer this time they said it was ignition key lock again so now they replaced it this time then car still died at startup and had security light flashing problems again, took it back to dealer and pissed off they called their tech hotline this time, and said the codes they got from it said its an IPC issue i just now emailed southern explaining all this to them what do you think ? now we have spent almost 2 grand on this problem and back to square one at only 65k miles on the car even thanks for anything
