Need some feedback about which new track car to get...
I'm struggling with which car to get next and would really appreciate some good feedback from some elise owners on this thread- ESPECIALLY those who've tracked their car!!
Thank you very much!! http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?p=3475190 |

Hi there,
Does the track car have to be usable on the road? Remember there is a huge difference between road legal and usable. Also a rough budget would be good otherwise i'm just gonna say Ferrari 360 CS !!!!!!!! As far as Elise on tracks go i've only been to events twice and had alot of fun, great getting to know your car better and being around like minded people. Yeah its great fun on the track and personally its plenty fast and fills you with confidence which is a very good thing for an amature like me. Not sure what you want to hear about the Elise on the track but if you let me know i'd be happy to help. |

Re: Need some feedback about which new track car to get...
budget would be about 700 a month in payments- so pending a little money down- the elise would be tipping the top of that scale...
How long have you owned the elise for now? how often do you drive it? |

Re: Re: Need some feedback about which new track car to get...
If you haven't driven the Elise on the track, you haven't driven the Elise. There is simply nothing on the American road like the Elise...except the Exige when it gets here. The Honda S2000 has the same spirit but is much more biased towards everyday practicality. Please, there aren't that many Elises to go around. If you won't track your Elise, let someone else buy it.
