Question JDM D-series

I have a couple questions about the JDM D series engines. First, the SOHC D series... i've heard that the d15 SOHC VTEC makes 130-135hp? is this true and is there a d16 SOHC VTEC, if so how much power does it produce?

Another question about the ZC... Does the engine ONLY bolt up to the D series hydrolic transmissions?

Thanks in Advance!

The D15B used in Asian market VTi's have what is called 3-staged VTEC. It has an 8-valve mode, ala VTEC-E, a normal mode, then intake VTEC, with more of a wild cam than the US D16Z/Y.

Right now I'm in Iraq fighting Iraqi's. But, as soon as I get to the states I'll download my specs for you. But, like you said until then.....

jdm d15b 3 stage vtec is rated at 132ps...so basically about 127hp. the zc.....will bolt up to any dseries tranny 88-00. im not saying the clutch splines will be the same depending on what year zc. lots of works and you too can create some nice hp and tq figures out of a d series.
