if it has a second code or traction light comes on could be a bad cam sensor too

really ?? traction light is on.... every now and then I get a po430 also....would a freeze frame on a scanner show it? or how else could I tell?....also read somewhere Toyota modified /changed the cam sensors somehow...are these a problem?
