2002 2.5 Sl
I am looking at buying a one owner 2002 Altima SL that was only driven about 7,000 miles a year. I was wanting a 3.5 SE but this car is in such great shape at a good price that it's hard to pass up. I have a few questions about them though:
1. I have always driven v6s so I am wondering if I might be disapointed by the 2.5. 2. Are there any notorious problems with this car? 3. How many speakers does the Bose sytem have? 4. What might it cost to do an HID upgrade? 5. Would an exhaust system be worth buying? Thanks!

Re: 2002 2.5 Sl
Hey! I can answer a few questions for you actually. First off I would stick with the V6 for a couple of reasons first off you might be sacrificing fuel mileage difference between the 4 & 6 cylinder but the 6 cylinder honestly is a better engine technology wise little things that were corrected that werent corrected with the 4 cylinder. Secondly the 4 cylinder is known for a lot of problems with CAM & CRANK Sensor Failure, Catalytic Converter Failure etc.
HIDs like any car depending on the kit the install price is fairly reasonable. Upgrades on exhaust I would personally purchase a true cat/back exhaust not one of those flimsy wanna be fast and the furious types. Quote:
