this is the 1995 Infiniti Q45
this is 1996 Lexus LS400 why was LS400 like 10 times more popular than Q45? I really like Q45 more than LS400. They are almost completely the same considering the power, performance, comfort, etc. but I've heard that when Q45 debuted, their commercial was TERRIBLE, and lexus hit the target. If anybody knows more about this, tell me. ---------- Cars are my life. I like cars |

As I never saw an Infinity in Europe and LS400 everyday (we own one)it probably also a point. Serious I don't think that the Q45 had a big release in Europe.

they are both nice cars, but if u want great off-the-line performance, a Q45 is your car; A nice ride, similar to that of a mercedes, u would want a LS400. My brother has an LS400, and i have an Infiniti Q45, so i compare them all the time. here is just an outside pic of it, if you want to see it: http://www.southlakehigh.com and here are pics of my Q: http://nnn21.tripod.com/infiniti.html

have you guys seen the commercial for the new INFINITI Q45???? THAT CAR LOOKS SWEET NOW!!
the commercial shows how the car has all voice activated stuff and in the other commerciall i saw it shows how the car has like a camera in the back, so you can see everything behind the car on the navigation system screen |

You guys should make a new thread titled LS430 vs. Q45, both being the new models. Now here is some HEAVYDUTY competition.
Will the Q45's 50 extra horsepower be able to make up for its past poor sales? Now that the Q is up to par with the luxury factor, how will the very-original 2001 model compare with the new German-esque LS430? I've always preferred Nissan, and I've always preferred the Q45, but however, I feel that the LS will fare better. Company/customer loyalty is very important, and since LSs have sold in the past, LSs should continue to sell in the future. DAMNIT:zx11pisse |

I always kinda liked the big goofy "prize-fighter belt" front end on the Q when it was new.
If we're comparing the mid-'90s models, I prefer the Q45. |

Lexus all the way. Do some homework and you will find the winner hands down to be the Lex.

Hey what do you think about the new models? I've already commented about this in another thread. I think the new Q is cheaper and offers alot. But yet the Lex offers more and you certainly get what you pay for.
Tough call, but I would still take the Lex. |

There's still something you get from the Infiniti that you can't get from the Lexus: uniqueness. There are just too many Lexuses rolling around piloted by undeserving yuppies. Most of the Qs I've seen are powered around the streets, like underdog sleepers.

And that statement is supposed to mean what? Infiniti is not unique, I would just say they are outsold.
