I just wish that they gave it more power.
The 150 ponies or whatever it has is not enough. But it is the most popular Infiniti, I've heard that the dealers are awaiting shippment almost all of the time. |

yep, G20 is nice, and it keeps getting better. All they need is put a V6 in there and it would be just great..
Then, they should take off the I30 off the line, but since it looks better than the Maxima, replace the Maxima with I30's looks and engine that has 5 more hp. No luxury stuff needed

not a bad idea. a turbocharged 4 cyl would also be nice in a g20. it already has great handling it jus really needs more power.

G20
Of course the G20 needs more power, but what about AWD or RWD That would make it just perfect

If they make it AWD, it will be even worse unless they add a bunch of power to it as well. Really the hp it has is way too low, and they better do something about it.

G20 transformation
You know what they should really do. Infiniti should take the G20 and make it similar to the lancer. Of course not exactly but you know what I mean. A four door four cylinder car that can whoop a common porshe or ferrari. Maybe put a R390 V8, haha

yes
yeah Skyline, I do have an Infiniti. I have a 1990 M30 coupe. It is a pretty nice car. Especially since I have performed some mods. For now i only have a K&N intake, a flowmaster dual exhast and an accel ignition system. These are only minor things due to my college student budget. As a future plan I think I will take a supercharger off a frontier and engineer it onto my V6. I have studied both engines and they are basically the same engine. The only problem is that the hood might not fit. But with a little fiberglass I will convert myt normal hood to a cowl induction hood. Do you think this is practical or possible. by the way I too beleive Skylines kill all.
do you have an infiniti Skylinekillall. |

lol yea they sure do. yeah ive got an 93.5 g20. i like the car itself i jus wish it had a 5-speed. if it was a 5-speed and had less miles thered definatley be a jim wolfe turbo on there but until college is over im not gonna mod my cars.
also i think that itd be pretty sweet if u supercharded ur m30. itd be practical i think.

we (my wife and i) own a 96 g20 and a 2k passat. I love the g20, and although it is often lacking in power (until it gets to about 5500 RPMs!!), it is more fun to drive than the much more luxurious passat.
If I had to replace it, I would choose a wolfsburg jetta with the 1.8 turbo engine (+ traction control), or a used A4 with quattro; but I am a VW/Audi fan... Having said that, if the g20 had AWD and a beefier engine it would certainly catch my attention and might even make me break away from my VW/Audi finaticism!! Now that I have had the g20 for a year and a half, I have realized that it would have been 100 times better with a manual and the limited slip diff offered with the g20t. I have even though about trying to find one like that and trade in ours!!

Would the Nissan Altima engine fit in the engine bay? That's 2.4 litres, right? Wouldn't a tweaked version of this engine give the G some more oomph? Of course then they'd have to call it the G24...

you could still call it a g20, so other people wont know, and then kick their ass when they think they can beat you. I dunno it be cool to have a better engine though
