04 Ram 1500 4x4

I am working on a 04 Ram 1500, the BRAKE light on the dash was flashing, I looked in the owners manual and it says the light will flash when the parking brake is set. Well the Parking brake is not set, So I check the abs system for codes and got a code 37 - intermittent signal from rear speed sensor.
Ok so I checked for a loose connection or corrosion at the connector and didn't find anything so I replaced it along with the brakes and rotors all the way around. After I got it done, The BRAKE light was still on (not flashing tho) and now the ABS light was on as well and the speedometer is bouncing around up to 20 mph without the truck running just with the key ON, and if you leave it on long enough you can see the odometer changes as well.

Has anyone heard or seen this before.

Joe

Re: 04 Ram 1500 4x4

oo yea and I understand the ABS light prolly came on because the speedometer is saying the truck is doing 20 mph but the wheels are not moving.

Re: 04 Ram 1500 4x4

Well the problem was water in the plug on the ABS CONTROL MODULE, I also replaced the Rear Sensor again and it is all working fine again, no light no funky speedometer.
