03 overdrive problem
My girfriend's son has a 03 ram hemi and he is having a problem with the overdrive. It seems to take several miles on the highway until it shifts into overdrive. He had the dealer check it out and they said nothing is wrong. Anyone have similar problems on the same truck? Any remedies?

Re: 03 overdrive problem
Several conditions have to be met in order for the OD to be activated. One of which (that sounds like your answer) is the engine has to be at operating temperature. Another condition that comes to mind is that you must be over 40 MPH.
