16 vs 17 rims
Hey guys, do any of you have 16inch rims on your p10's? I am starting to think that 17's might be a little too big looking
I had my heart set on Volk Racing TE37's until i saw the price (~$400+ PER wheel!!!!) needless to say, i'm having to reconsider just love the 5/6 straight spoke design and look so what do you think would be suitable tire sizes/offset for 16inch rims? any recommendations as to what brand/type to go with? thanks!!!

16's if you want more performance, 17's more for looks but still performs well.
tires for 16's on a p10 should be 205/50 rated, correct me if i'm wrong. tires for 17's on a p10 should be 205/40 rated, again, correct me if i'm wrong. wheel offset should be between +42mm to +48mm offset. check www.wheelmax.com www.tirerack.com for something you may like, good luck

what size tires would be advisalbe for 16" rims if you went with a 215 width tire? (there shouldn't be fittament problems onto a standard 16" wheel with 215 width tires right?)

i just got a hook up for some rims that are copies of the latest rims. (Racing Hart copies, Volk copies, etc... ) they're hella affordable cuz they might have a small tiny nick in the paint or a small bit of orange peel in the paint.
cost: ~100 bucks a rim - i have a hook up for tires too. i JUST got hooked up with the manufacturer so i'll post pics and prices pretty soon. i'll post some info on tires as well. approximate weight for a 17'' rim: 19 lbs... (a lil better than average) :smoker: -clifford

sweet! post those pics when u can!
i've been looking around at wheels ,and i noticed how popular Enkei rims are, so i checked them out at their sweet-looking website (they show the weights for each rim) the lightest ones there i think are the RPO1's here's what it said: Silver 16 x 6.5 14.52 lbs Silver 16 x 7 15.84 lbs Silver 17 x 7 17.6 lbs Silver 17 x 7.5 18 lbs I looked them up, and they're not too expensive either! ~$120 per rim..not bad. My question is, what tire width would be recommended for a p10 g20 if going with 17 rims? would 7.5 be too much?
